We made it!  Now let’s celebrate!

Fifty years is nothing to sneeze at so let’s do it up right! The reunion committee is looking forward to hosting a fun, friendly, meaningful reunion that will have something for everyone.

On Friday, September 18^th, we’re offering a free Oktoberfest Open House at the Lane Tech Alumni Office from 3pm till 6:30pm. Meet up with classmates in advance of the big event, peruse the yearbooks, scrapbooks, and other artifacts in the space that will kick your memory into high gear, and join in a toast to 50 Years! If there’s a football game that night, we’ll get you out in time to get to the stadium. (We won’t know till mid-summer)

On Saturday morning, shake out the Oktoberfest cobwebs and get to Lane for our School Tour. Enjoy seeing (and smelling) the hallways, the lunchroom, library, auditorium, Memorial Garden, new tech classrooms and for the ladies… the pool… perhaps for the first time! You’ll be able to see the incredible, 77-piece art collection we never paid attention to when jostling for position during passing periods and learn about what’s happening at Lane today, hint: it’s pretty impressive!

The big event is Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 6pm till 10pm at The Fairway in Niles. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet including carving stations, an open bar, beautiful patio, Show & Tell tables, Digital Yearbook, Photo Op Space, and lots of opportunities to connect. Don’t worry- if you think you won’t know anybody… we’ll introduce or reintroduce you! And if you’ve attended the other events in advance of Saturday night, we guarantee you’ll have made a buddy or two.
