Wow.....what a rush. A month from today we will be recovering from a party 50 years in the making. A party that brought back together some of Lane Tech's finest.
50 years ago we were young, naive, hopeful teenagers with barely a clue of what lay ahead. College, trade school, military service, starting a family, hopeful careers. Maybe all of those. And now, an unbelievable 50 years later, 18,000+ days later, we celebrate one commonality shared by us all. Proud graduates of a world class high school. It was back then and still is now.
You'll hear much more about all that on the school tour and at the Fairway party. Fellow classmate MIchelle Weiner, who just happens to be the LTAA Executive Director, is a walking historian on the school. And there will be so much memorabilia on display at our party bash..... which will hopefully jog our cobweb memories and maybe even coax a smile or two out of us all.
If you haven't registered for this spectacular reunion weekend, do so quickly. Registration deadlines are fast approaching. The nine of us who have spent the last 18 months putting all this together look forward to seeing all of you. And we know you all are just as excited!
