It's finally "the week of" our 50th reunion. All plans are in place, menus are set, logistics are in place, and communications are out. It's been 18 months of monthly (or more) zoom meetings, and too many emails and phone calls to even begin to count; but, it's been a pleasure to work on this initiative because of the following committee members. We're all looking forward to events starting Thursday with our Wrigley Field tour and culminating with our banquet Saturday evening. But most importantly, looking forward to reconnecting with Alums and faculty at the various events.

June, there is no posted list of attendees. It's too easy for anything we publish here to get copied en mass to other public Facebook or social media sites. I don't think anyone wants it to be known publicly that they won't be at home on X date at a certain time. We all try to protect our privacy and security. It's just the world we all live in.

We won't let any dark clouds deter us from having an amazing reunion weekend, starting today!

For our 2 dozen or so folks coming to Wrigley, we are rain or shine but we expect precipitation to wane by late afternoon and much of the tour is covered so we should be just dandy.

Meet at Gallagher Way at 4:15 for check in and if you want the post-tour discount at Budweiser Brickyard which is adjacent to Gallagher Way and footsteps from where we enter and exit, be sure to get your hand stamped.

Hmmmmm....Business Casual.....does that mean I can't wear my green Lane t-shirt with my bell bottom jeans and platform shoes? Please re-define Business Casual for our dinner on Saturday.

And could I wear my Oktoberfest shirt and bring my bier stein to the Oktoberfest get together on Friday? Probst!

Ken, businesses casual these days could mean slacks and a nice polo, or a sport coat. I just know I'm not wearing a tie! You can't make me!

Hey, wear whatever you're comfortable in. After 50 yrs, no one cares what others are wearing. No one's going to turn you away because of your clothes.

For the Oktoberfest and school tour, just be comfortable and wear whatever you want. Coming in from Florida, my daily dress is shorts and a polo so that's what you'll see me wearing.
